Our goal is “to consistently make prayer a first response rather than a last resort.”
Prayer should not be regarded "as a duty which must be performed, but rather as a privilege to be enjoyed, a rare delight that is always revealing some new beauty." -- E.M. Bounds

National Day Of Prayer Breakfast "The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song." - Psalm 28:7 - The above verse is the theme for this year's National Day Of Prayer. Harvester Christian Church will celebrate the National Day Of Prayer on Thursday, May 1st with a breakfast and prayer time from 6:45am to 8:00am. We will share a continental breakfast together from 6:45 - 7:10am; the prayer time will begin immediately following breakfast and conclude at 8:00am. This event will be held in our Community Lobby on Central Campus. Tickets are $3 each and KIDS 5 AND UNDER EAT FREE!! If you desire to come to the prayer time but not the breakfast, come to the Community Lobby at 7:10am - there is no charge for this. We know this is early in the morning, but we still encourage you to come as a family - yes, bring the kids. They may get to school a little late, but what a great witness to tell the administrator in the office the reason why your kids are late. You may get to work a little late too, but take the opportunity to share with everyone where you were and what you did. There is nothing greater you can do with and for your family than to pray with them and teach them the importance of prayer. Additionally, this is a great way to demonstrate the importance of prayer in your life. We will have activities for the kids to help keep them occupied during breakfast, and they will leave with some prayer tools that will help them as they continue to pray after the prayer breakfast is over. You can purchase your tickets beginning Saturday, April 5th through Sunday, April 27th. Tickets will be available at the We hope to see you on May 1st!! Prayer & Care Groups are designed to minister to a variety of individuals within HCC and also to reach out to those who may have never experienced the love of Christ as demonstrated by His people. We meet to pray together, share concerns and praises, encourage each other, and share Christ with others.
