Harvester Christian Church

How does a church that desires to reach more people in the community expand its outreach?  Perhaps by tapping into a principle utilized by the St. Charles County LIbrary District.

Early on, the Library District made a wise choice.  Rather than creating one primary library for all residents to come to, regardless of the distance, the district created several locations throughout the county.  Cardholders can do to whichever location is most convenient to where they live or work.  Also, the combined books and resources of all the locations are available to anyone with a library card.  The bottom line is that more people can use the library because of multiple locations.

One Church--Multiple Locations
What would happen if the church applied this principle of accessibility through multiple locations?  The result is the multi-site or multi-campus church.  Harvester Christian Church employs a multi-campus approach that we believe God uses to reach more people for Christ in our area.

How does it work?
Simply put, Harvester Christian Church is a church that meets in multiple locations.  All campuses share one staff and one common vision for reaching the area.  By creating new campuses in new areas, we are better able to reach out to people wiout requiring them to "come to us."  At the same time, the ministries and resources of each location are available to everyone.  We are all members of Harvester Christian Church, whichever campus we may attend.
