Each Counselor at the center has completed a Master's degree in counseling and is either licensed or under the supervision of a licensed psychologist or counselor in order to attain licensure in the state of Missouri.
Licensed in 2009 in Missouri as a Professional Counselor, Brian is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. He is on the ministry staff of Harvester Christian Church and leads the counseling department. He also oversees the various support groups within the ministry. Karen is a Licensed Professional Counselor whose specialty is helping those who have been injured in pursuit of their faith. She believes that many hurts can be healed once we gain an accurate view of God and His desire to relate to us. Karen received her Bachelor of Science degree in Bible and Secondary Education from Maranatha Baptist Bible College in 1978 and her Masters of Education in Counseling from the University of Missouri St. Louis in 2001. Sharon holds a bachelors degree in Communication Arts from James Madison University and a Masters Degree in Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University. She has completed coursework in Biblical Christian Counseling Ministries' Cognitive Biblical Therapy. Shelley Kues M.Ed., PLPC Counseling Intern Shelley received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 1987, and a Master of Education in Counseling in 1989 from the University of Missouri, St. Louis. She attended Lindenwood University and became a certified School Counselor in June 2009. She and her husband Fred have been married for 25 years and have two children, Max and Katie. Shelley and her family have been members of Harvester Christian Church since 1997. She has served in various ministries including Bible study leadership for over 10 years, and is currently involved in PAK (Praying About Kids). Shelley is excited about the direction the Lord is leading her in the counseling ministry. She will work with children through college age and their families, as well as with women, to work through emotional issues, anxiety and depression, social problems, adjustment issues, behavior problems, career and life direction. Brian earned his Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Johnson Bible College in Knoxville, TN, and his Bachelor of Science degree in Education at the University of Tennessee. Brian has been married for 13 years and is a home school dad of five children.
He is passionate about being a Godly man, husband and father and is driven in seeing marriages and families saved and strengthened.

Karen D. Wasoba

Karen is the author of Lord, Shut Me Up; Anger Management for Christians based on personal experience and observations of those who struggle with anger and its negative results in relationships.
She and her husband, Don have been married for 30 years and have two adult children and one special daughter-in-law. Karen loves to find the humor in daily living and urges those around her to enjoy the gift of life God has given to each of us.
Perry Dodge
M.S., M.A., L.P.C.Perry is passionate about seeing God at work in healing relationships. He hosted The Marriage Minute, a live weekly radio segment, and his work has been featured on KSDK Newschannel 5, AM 850 KFUO, and AM 630 KISL and in St. Louis Woman Magazine.
He received his B.A. from Harvard University in 1990, his M.S. in Educational Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania in 1998, and his M.A. in Counseling from St. Louis University in 2005.
Perry became a contract counselor with Harvester Christian Church in September 2005. Perry and his wife, Dianne, lead relationship conferences for married couples and singles. They have been married for nine years and have two daughters.

Sharon Bass

Sharon became a contract counselor with Harvester Christian Church in 2006. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and Lambda Chi, Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society International.
Sharon enjoys working with adults, families and has a particular passion for children. Sharon leads the counseling ministry at her home church, where she also counsels, as well as oversees support groups and classes. She and her husband, Ken have been married for 23 years and are the proud parents of a son and daughter. They are also adoptive parents of two retired racing greyhounds.
