P.A.K. Moms (Praying About Kids)
Welcome to P.A.K. Moms!P.A.K. meets on Sunday afternoons from 2 - 3 in the prayer room off the Community Lobby. If we have a large group, we will break into smaller groups for prayer. Anyone is welcome to join. You can attend every Sunday or any Sunday you are available. This year we continue to focus on 5 areas of need for our children and ourselves: Spiritual, Physical, Mental, Emotional, and Social. We use scripture to pray for these needs.Why do we think it's so important to pray with someone else? First of all, as women, we love the fellowship. We also find it encouraging to know that someone else is praying with us regarding our personal needs. It is scriptural to agree in prayer with another and it adds strength to our faith (Matthew 18:20). Often, a testimony from another mom is just what we need to remain faithful in prayer. Sometimes another mom has a suggestion for what she has seen work well in her family. There are times when prayers aren't "answered" like we pray, but it is also encouraging to know that God provides peace in the midst of the storm.
