Have you found yourself in a spiritual rut? This workshop will provide 10 simple tips for breathing new life into your dull, dead, or depleted spiritual life. Whether you are just beginning your life with God or have been in a relationship with Him for years, you will find useful insights and motivation in this workshop.  S
 

Arrive in Style: Fashion on a Budget - Shelby Krietemeyer

Discover how to look like a million bucks on a budget! This workshop will provide tips for getting the most from your clothing dollars as well as teach you how to properly dress in a way that compliments your unique style and body shape. Shelby will share ten things that are a MUST in every wardrobe and where she successfully looks for fashion bargains.  P

Baubles and Bangles - Daphne Boyce

A returning favorite! This hands-on workshop will teach you how to create your own beautiful beaded bracelet to take home with you. Class size limited to 15. (Fee: $12)  P

Be Patient, God Isn’t Finished With Me Yet! - Jamie Praechter French - CLOSED

Join Jamie, a US Air Force wife and mother of two small children, as she shares her humorous and heartfelt testimony of God’s faithfulness through the transitions of life. This former television anchor left the cameras behind to fulfill her most challenging and rewarding role to date: Motherhood! Be encouraged as Jamie shares the lessons she’s learned along the way, including Biblical truths about self-worth, balance, contentment, patience, and most of all, God’s sovereignty.  F/S

Blend, Bake, Bond: Priceless Time With Your Child - Tammy Hasekamp

Turn an everyday task into a priceless memory! Discover how to enjoy spending time with your children in the kitchen while Tammy demonstrates baking with her daughter, Sarah. Samples of kid-friendly goodies will be shared. Feed your heart and tummy at the same time!  F

 

Building Strong Family Relationships - Shari Fischer

The quality of our everyday lives depends heavily on the quality of the relationships we hold with those most dear to us. In this workshop, Shari will discuss topics such as relationship makers and breakers, constructive ways to handle conflict, and ways to find a healthy balance between family and life demands. Money-saving tips for fun on a budget as well as ideas to nurture your family’s spiritual bond will also be shared.  P/S

 

Can I Get a Witness? - Tammie Stone

Are you afraid to talk to friends, family, and neighbors about God? What about total strangers? Are you intimidated by the very thought of “witnessing?” Join Tammie as she explores practical ways to share your faith with others.  S

 

Coffee…This Time It’s Personal  - Jon Hedgecorth

There’s more to a fabulous cup of coffee than just cream and sugar! Grab a cup of java and listen as Jon shares interesting facts, a bit of history, and a lot of fun. P

Digging Up Your Roots - Donna Rogers

If you’ve ever wondered what mysteries lie in your family history, this workshop is for you! Researching family genealogy is one of America’s fastest growing hobbies, but can be overwhelming if you don’t know where to begin. This workshop will give you a starting point with tips, tricks, and materials to aid your research, as well as an information packet to put you on the road to uncovering your own family secrets.  P

 

Dinner in No Time - Sally Tharp

Learn how to beat the dinner rush at this cooking demonstration by Pampered Chef® consultant Sally Tharp. You’ll learn to prepare quick and delicious recipes that are ready in 30 minutes or less and cost only around $2 per serving! Time-saving tools make the recipes even easier to prepare, so you’ll spend less time in the kitchen and more time enjoying family.  P

 

Everything’s Better With Chocolate - Teresa & Margaret Sims - CLOSED

When life gets tough – get chocolate! Come ready to learn tips & techniques to make tasty and easy treats for your family or as a gift for someone special. Each participant receives a take-home goodie. Class size limited to 15.  P

Food Connection: The Curious Case of Your Child’s Behavior -

Mission Possible - Doyle & Jean Roth

Doyle and Jean Roth have traveled all over the world, from major cities to remote jungles, and love to share their experiences of reaching out to different people groups with the message of hope through Jesus Christ. With visuals and food samples, they will help answer many questions you may have about cross-cultural missions, including what to expect, why you should go, and what opportunities are available.  S

 

Pies and Noodles - Cheryl Belzer - CLOSED

If making delicious pie crusts and noodles from scratch seems complicated and old-fashioned, think again! Cheryl will share her love of baking and cooking with a fun and informative demonstration of basic techniques. Each participant will be treated to samples!  P

Prayer Walk - Catherine Williams

A Daybreak classic! Participants enjoy a self-guided walk on a beautiful wooded path. Materials and instructions will be provided to assist you in your private prayer time. Weather permitting, this workshop will be held outdoors.  S

 

Run for Your Life! - Ann Varwig

In this workshop, Ann will share her personal journey of running and racing after the age of 40. She will offer running tips, information on local race opportunities, and practical advice. Her inspiring presentation will motivate you to establish the physical and spiritual disciplines necessary for your own successful race.  P/S

Safety: Beyond Locking the Door - Tom & Theresa Goodwin

Don’t miss this demonstration of practical ways to use your voice and body language to avoid being the victim of an assault. In this hands-on training opportunity, participants will practice effective self-defense techniques to use if an attack is inevitable.  P

Salon Solutions to Help You Shine - Cary O’Brien

Join Master Designer Cary O’Brien and his team of salon professionals as they perform beauty transformations on live models taken right from our audience. Cary will offer style tips and finishing ideas and help you see your hair in a new light. This popular workshop is always fun and entertaining!  P

In today’s economy, we are all looking for ways to save money. If the amount of your grocery bill is higher than you would like, this is your chance to learn how to lower it using coupons. Becky will share tips to cut your grocery bill in half as well as budget-friendly recipes your family will love.  P

 

The Artist in You - Juanita Knowles

Release your inner artist! Learn basic fundamentals of drawing as easier-than-you-think techniques are illustrated. Each workshop will feature a different art project to take home. (Fee: $5 per project)  P
